I love it, super unique mechanics and great puzzles. Lots of great moments of realization. My only real complaint is that the controls kind of confused me, I think I would rather have used left/right to turn and forward/backward to walk (maybe there could be an option to change control schemes).
Great work! Got big shrimp, and was learning even in the last level (made me finally take note “for real” about gear chain parity). Thanks for sharing!
Awesome puzzles, and it feels great to play, the rotation, the sliiiddey boi when I hold down a direction...great stuff. The flow of levels/introducing new concepts smoothly could be improved, I had a fun time but got hardstuck on level 15 :'(
Some levels I felt like you can only try 2-3 things, so I just explore the decision tree and solve it and feel like I didn't really learn what that level was trying to teach. That was still fun a lot of the time, e.g. level 10 was awesome but in the moment I didn't really "get" it, I just tried stuff. On another note, level 12 was my favorite, it made me feel really smart, but then level 13 felt like it was a step back, like pushing the gear should be introduced before pushing it in a more complex way.
Anyway overall had a lot of fun trying it out :) I wasn't in the jam, just saw it on Juniper's jam video and thought it looked really cool (I play other sokoban/puzzle-y games a decent bit).
such a cool idea for a puzzle game!!!! and very cute too (i did get VERY stuck in level 4 and had to look in the comments to figure out you can push the bars lol)
Super cool idea for a puzzle game, had a blast playing it! Only suggestion I have is that I thought the squid moved a little slow, I would make it a bit faster.
Didn't manage to submit anything but what a nice puzzle game this is. Amazing concept and I absolutely LOVE how new mechanics are introduced every 1-2 levels

Needs snappier character movement.
Also I got an "out of memory" error.
Great job otherwise!
OOM error should be fixed! Thanks for the feedback :)

Stuck on level 5.
I did the thing :3
Very nice! I would love to see this posted to the Lexaloffle BBS or otherwise made available to play elsewhere as well.
Brilliant. The way the game teaches the player is just *chefs kiss*
excellent !! would have happily played another 10 levels, wonderful little "ah ha" moments throughout <3
Oh, I love the mechanic here, though it took me a while to figure out exactly how everything interacts.
Oh th spinning mechanic next to those ribbed doors is cool,
Very cool & cute. Want to play advanced stages!

Loved it!
This was a fun short game. 👍🏻
GREAT GAME! LOVED IT!
Best prize shrimp of any game this month.
Honestly one of my favorite entries.
this is genius wtf, would love to see more
Very solid game. The levels ended a bit abruptly though, maybe we'll see more in the future??
Love the game, love the squid, however i am not smart enough for this ! keep at it tho !
Wow, this was a blast! So much feeling in just moving the squid around. Very well done!

Would definitely love to see more levels.
めっちゃ面白かった!
デザインが洗練されていて非常に良質だと感じました。
個人的に難易度も難しすぎない丁度いいラインで、パズルゲームの美味しい部分をイイ感じに抽出できていて爽快でした。
concept looks amazing
could you upload this to lexaloffle bbs so I could play it on my handheld thru splore?
Very fun game! I got big shrimp :)
Great spin on sokoban genre ;-)
many valid comments here about the wonderful puzzle concept so *I* would like to say that the squid is soooo cute!

very good :)
An absolute banger of a concept.
excellent
Bro, this game is genious, very unique and creative!
Such a unique puzzle concept. I'd love to play a full game of this :)
Very original concept, but I'm stuck here and have to figure out how to enter from the correct side to spin it
You can push tiles. Took me a while to figure that out too,
Yeah, it's a neat little solution. It feels obvious in hindsight, but also you wouldn't think to try it at first.
finished the game it was so fun for such a simple concept. However my friend started later than me and finished it earlier so im a pathetic chud.
