Hey Spratt, I love your game! But… I saw an ad using gameplay from your game to advertise a ripoff game

I lost the original ad, but this is the app. The ad used footage from your game tho.

just bringing it to your attention

what does reset cart mean?

Reset Cart is short for "Reset Cartridge". Older games that required literal pieces of material to play would often have an option that allowed the game to be reset. So in short, the reset cart button means to re-launch the game.

This is something serious. There is a mobile game called artisan worm that is copy and pasting your idea. I just wanted to tell you.

I love the game. The puzzles are so criative! ALL PUZZLES HERE.

In Woodworm you have to replicate an figure with this little woodworm. It is quite challenging later on, but it's fun to engage in it for some time. I had some issues understanding what to do at the beginning, but I guess it's just me.

Hey some people stole you're gameits some mobile rip off

yeah I agree I got the game and it was low quality

(+2)

easy, worm gets hungry i see

(+1)

very interesting! it’s neither too easy or too hard, and many levels have more than one solution.

I’ve seen that there’s a kind of blocks that can’t be eaten in your previous work, are you planning to add them in following updates?

I don't plan to. I had already them implemented here but every time I tried to use them for a puzzle, I found that the puzzle was more fun and interesting without them :

it’s important to abandon things that seem good but actually not.

very good game

This game is great! amazing puzzle design and genius mechanic to be able to perfectly utilize the limitations of Pico-8 without losing gameplay.

Fun!

(+2)

This game is absolutely brilliant.

how do I eat the inside?

Here's a hint... the final cutout doesn't have to be one continuous piece of wood. It just has to have the same shape as the given model. ;)

That really helped me ty Mr Bacon :D!

They just have more soul in them.

(+2)

Hello, Are you considering bringing a fully fledged version with more content on Steam/consoles? That would be awesome!

(+7)

Is there a level creator? If there isnt, will there be one in the future? I am just now downloading it.

(+3)

I plan on making a level creator soon!

👀

do woodworms taste like wood.

(1 edit)

no, but they have a crunch if theyve been dried.

Also they dont taste of very much.

(+1)

This is really good! Lots of 'aha' moments throughout.

(+2)

Ohh  this is a good one!  These puzzles are deceptively tricky.  I love it!

(+1)(-6)

who the heck whold dowload a freakin' png?!

(+3)

Dude. This is a browser game. You can play it at the top of the page.

(+5)

It's made in Pico8 that exports games ("cartridges") in a special png format. So if you want to open the game in Pico8 you can download it instead of playing the web version here.

https://www.lexaloffle.com/pico-8.php

Somebody that knows how Pico-8 works, and realizes that the game's code is embedded in the png, which pic-8 expects you to load into it?   Most people would probably just play it in their browser though...
